Crisis Lines and Helplines

February 12, 2009 by Vauna Beauvais · Leave a Comment

Regretfully, Vauna at Nottingham Therapy cannot help you if you are in crisis, or you need someone to help you, talk to you or give advice or information over the phone.

If you are feeling desperate, or that you want someone to talk to immediately, please use the telephone numbers below.

There are people ready and willing to talk with you, you just need to call. If you are a UK resident you are entitled to use these services as often as you need to.

If you are thinking of having sessions with me and you feel put off by this list, please re-think! This list is intended for people who, at this point in time, in crisis, deeply suffering, or who need more than I can offer as an hourly therapist.

Most of my clients are high functioning people who have made successes and some failures (as we all do). If you are thinking that you don’t qualify for therapy sessions because your issues are not related to anything like those listed below, please know that if there is anything going on for you that is in any way limiting your sense of enjoyment or quality of life, then it is worth having sessions to change this.

Everyone deserves to have the happiest life possible, and it is only normal and healthy to deal with whatever is in the ay of you having that. I look forward to hearing from you.

Below is a comprehensive list of crisis lines, helplines and support services for UK residents that I have compiled.

If you know of any that are out of date, please leave a comment on this page, or email me, to let me know, and I will amend it so that this list is always current.
